Ocean Grove, NJ - Located down the street from the local beaches and boardwalk of Ocean Grove, the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) is moving forward with its plans to produce four arts education sessions available for all local Jersey Shore area residents. These arts education sessions will include classes on visual and performing arts, culinary, crafting, and artisanry. Participants will learn techniques and methods which will allow them to create their own great works.
Right now, the Jersey Shore Arts Center is recruiting local artists, arts educators, performers, musicians, chefs/cooks, crafters, and artisans to instruct session participants. “I want local residents to have every chance to learn and engage with the arts, it’s what our nonprofit mission is all about,” said Nichole Nappi, executive director of the Jersey Shore Arts Center. The deadline for teacher applications is 1/28/21. Once teachers are chosen and the schedule is finalized, the Jersey Shore Arts Center will announce the line-up for the Spring Arts Education Sessions on February 15, 2021. The registration deadline for Spring Session classes ends March 15, 2021. Summer classes and Professional Workshop registration deadline information will be available on the Jersey Shore Arts Center website and social media pages. The JSAC encourages all those interested in learning more about the Arts Education Sessions to subscribe to their email list via the website. This reduces promotional expenses so that funding can be focused on the program. A paper form and information sheet can be mailed USPS upon request.
