Atlantic Wind Ensemble - April Tribute to Herb Herbst

Ocean Grove, New Jersey

Jersey Shore Arts Center next April Concert honors past president

Ocean Grove, New Jersey-

Join the Jersey Shore Arts Center this April 1st for Atlantic Wind Ensemble’s Annual Spring Concert. This year’s concert will honor the past president and founder, Herb Herbst. Herb Herbst’s vision for the Old Neptune High School was two-fold; to preserve and restore the Victorian-era building built in 1897 and to support local artists, arts and arts education programming. With the hard work and dedication of Mr. Herbst and his volunteer corp, the building and resident artists continue to flourish today. This concert performance celebrates his endeavors and honors those who continue to volunteer and support this organization.

The Atlantic Wind Ensemble will be performing on stage in the Palaia Theater on April 1 at 7 pm. This free public tribute performance will include Herb Herbst's favorite music all the while audience members can enjoy historical Palaia Theater. The Old Neptune High School was built in 1897 and is located on the corner of Main Street and Main Avenue of Ocean Grove, New Jersey.

Atlantic Wind Ensemble, founded in 1990 by Harry D. Eichhorn, an outgrowth of the Ocean Grove Summer Band. Comprised of approximately 40 or more volunteer musicians who enjoy getting together to play music.
